Rose Patrick, the Chief Financial Officer, provides oversight and is responsible for developing and maintaining policies and procedures to efficiently report on the financial aspects of all our captives, the risk retention group, as well as for Venture Captive Management, LLC. She is ultimately responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, annual financial audit, federal and state tax returns, as well as any other financial regulatory reporting. She has over 25 years of financial and management accounting experience, as well as auditing experience in various sectors, but primarily in the financial sector. She has both International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) experience, as well as experience with US GAAP.
Rose is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA, UK) who graduated with her Masters in Accounting (Honors) from the University of the West Indies, Jamaica. She gained her extensive experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers, The Bank Of Nova Scotia Jamaica Ltd., Scotia Jamaica Life Insurance Company Ltd., and since 2009 at Venture Captive Management, LLC in various roles.
Casey Hudson is the Controller responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for our captives and risk retention group. He is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of insurance accounting experience. Casey was most recently Vice President and Treasurer of a life and health insurance company. Prior to that he was Vice President and Controller of an insurance holding company.
Casey earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Georgia College and State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
Ebriam Abdul, the Accounting Manager, has over 20 years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and extensive knowledge in the Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable process. He overseas several processes in the Accounting Department that relate to state and federal filings and returns, as well as the vendor management process for all our clients. He is currently also responsible for the monthly reconciliation, Financial Statements preparation, and audits of the larger more complex captives managed here at Venture Captive Management, LLC.
He has an Associate Degree in Accounting at the Ilsa College in Zimbabwe. He gained his accounting experience at Fahlgren Entertainment, Berlin Atlantic Capital, GA Flooring Inc, AFC Worldwide Express, and since 2011 at Venture Captive Management, LLC.
His interests outside of work are hiking, fishing, and camping.
Elliot Kliossis is a Staff Accountant at Venture Captive Management, LLC, whose primary responsibility is the Accounts Receivables process for all our captives and the Risk Retention Group. He also assists with the month-end close process, completing bank reconciliations for several checking and investment accounts for the captives. Elliot has worked in the accounting field for over 5 years, starting at a non-profit in 2016, and from 2017-2020 he specialized in Accounts Receivable in the real estate industry. Elliot earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Business from Birmingham-Southern College in 2013. He went on to Georgia State University and received his Accounting Degree in 2016.
Outside of work Elliot likes to rock climb, hike, and go to live music events.
Soumya (Billy) Das is a Staff Accountant at Venture Captive Management, LLC, whose primary responsibility is the Accounts Receivables process for all our captives and the Risk Retention Group. He is also responsible for completing bank and investment reconciliations for several checking and investment accounts, as well as performing the month-end close for some of our captives. Billy has worked in the accounting field for over eight years, starting at a non-profit in 2012. Billy has lived in New York for most of his life where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from SUNY Old Westbury in 2012.
Glenna joined Venture Captive Management as a Sr. Casualty Underwriter of the National Assisted
Living Risk Retention Group (NALRRG). Her initial responsibilities included handling both new and
renewal underwriting, policy management, account administration, claims review and some marketing.
She has since become an evolving subject matter expert and been promoted to Manager of NALRRG.
After successfully transitioning to manager of the RRG, she quickly stepped up to become Underwriting
Manager and spearheads a team of underwriter handling both NALRRG and VCM’s Captives.
Glenna joined VCM with a variety of insurance and finance expertise in varying lines of business. She has
17 years of experience partnering with P&C insurance carriers, MGAs and premium finance companies,
and claim, in both standard and excess/surplus lines markets. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in
Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at Brockport. She holds two Master’s Degrees;
Human Resource Development from St. John Fisher College and an M.B.A in Finance & Risk
Management from Capella University. She has earned her CPCU designation and is a licensed P&C
Rachel joined Venture Captive Management in 2017 as an office coordinator and was promoted to Account Manager in 2019. After completing her AU in Commercial Underwriting, Rachel was promoted to Underwriter in 2021. She is responsible for evaluating risks to ensure our rates are profitable and competitive in the current market, in addition to providing support for the underwriting, accounting, and compliance departments.
Prior to VCM, Rachel was a cosmetologist in NYC before moving to Georgia in 2000. In 2008, she returned to college and earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Georgia Gwinnett College. After graduation, she worked as an Administrative Assistant in an insurance agency before joining the VCM team.
Her interests outside of work include hiking, running, spending time with her family, and DIY home projects.
Gia Nedd joined the Venture Captive Management team as an Underwriter in the Risk Retention Group bringing more than 20 years of Insurance experience. Her primary responsibility is to evaluate each risk to ensure our rates are profitable and competitive in the current market. Some previous positions held were Underwriter, Consultant and Account Manager with some major companies such as AIG and MetLife as well as some national and local brokerage firms. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia. Gia currently holds licenses in Property and Casualty, Life Accident and Health Agent/Broker and just recently Property Casualty Adjuster.
Her interests outside of work include spending time with family and participating in community service projects.
Beverly Williams joined the Venture Captive Management team as a Sr. Casualty Underwriter bringing more than 35 years of Insurance experience. Her background in insurance brings experience working with casualty insurance carriers and managing general agents in both the standard and excess markets.
Her responsibilities include involvement in both new and renewal risk underwriting. Her duties include evaluating each risk to ensure our rates are profitable and competitive in the current market, policy management, account management, and claims review of Risk Retention Groups and Captive accounts.
Beverly has held positions with companies such as Chubb, American Safety Insurance and Nation’s Builders Insurance Services.
Beverly holds two Masters Degrees from Keller University an MPA concentration in Healthcare, graduated Magna Cum Laude. An MBA concentration in Human Recourses graduated with Distinctions. Her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing was earned from DeVry University. Beverly currently holds licenses in Property and Casualty and Life Accident and Health Agent. She has her Accredited Advisor in Insurance and Associate in General Insurance certifications.
Her interests outside of work include spending time with family, financial education, and community service projects.
Nesea joined Venture Captive Management team as a Underwriter Rater bringing more than 10 years of Insurance experience. Her responsibilities include involvement in processing of Captive, RRG billing, calculating additional and return premium endorsements, binding RRG renewal accounts, assisting with underwriting documents prep for Audits and providing support for the accounting department.
Prior to VCM, Nesea worked with State Farm for 5 years as a Claims Specialist, prior to State farm Nesea worked with Aetna Healthcare as a Underwriter Assistant for 5 years before relocating to Atlanta GA. Nesea earned her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Strayer University and is currently working on her Bachelor.

Shavonne Osborne is our Information Technology Manager responsible for oversight of the company’s IT assets, network, and websites. She supports our Risk Retention Group SharePoint Portal and is responsible for managing the network and data analytics for the Risk Retention Group, as well as, captive formation and management. Her role includes application support, development, implementation and systems analysis.
Shavonne has an impressive resume which spans over 27 years of service in the IT industry with a government focus. She began her career as a Help Desk Analyst. It was during this time she found her passion and love for IT. Her desire to help people and the joy she found in supporting end users, solidified her choice to go back to school to earn a degree in Technology. While working a full-time job and being a full-time mom, Shavonne became an expert in time management to go on to earn her BS in Computing and Information Systems in 2003 from her alma mater, Mississippi College.
Shavonne’s work ethic has allowed her to work her way up through the ranks. She’s been afforded the opportunity to learn new technologies and apply that knowledge while supporting our armed forces. She has worked for the United States Army and went on to support our Veterans at the G.V. Sonny Montgomery Hospital as an IT Specialist INET.
Shavonne is the proud mother of four children. When not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughters and is an active member of a domestic violence organization, Butterflies By Grace Defined By Faith. She has served this nonprofit organization proudly for over seven years.
Kyra Dunson joins Venture Captive Management as the Chief Compliance Officer. Kyra brings to the team 20 years of healthcare financial management and reporting experience. Kyra has served in previous roles as an Accounting Director, Controller and Chief Financial Officer. Kyra is ardent about the continuing development of operational efficiencies, cross functioning collaborations and implementation of innovative objectives to achieve quantitative solutions within the compliance management arena. In her current role, Kyra will expand on her accounting and regulatory expertise to ensure our clients receive the highest compliance management of their captives.
Kyra possess an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a Master in Business Administration from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. Kyra is a member of various financial reporting media groups to include The Financial Executives Networking Group.
Kyra has a love of the Arts and education. Her interests outside of work include visiting various art shows, reading art reviews and creatively writing.
